Stellaris as a devouring swarm hive-mind. I found the Sol system and an Earth equivalent inhabited by human primitives engulfed in WW2. I bombed them from orbit and then sent my bugs down to consume them all. Just like how it should've happened in real life the second Hitler started losing.

Randomly picked a paladin build and went Hammer Arbiter which was an awful mistake in hindsight, towards the end I was doing 16 hour days trying to get into the Top 500 Tower clears and just couldn't even though all my gear was maxed out along with Mythic charms. Best I could muster was I think Pit 128 at around 7 minutes even though my gear was an order of magnitude better than everyone else's in the rankings and I refused to switch classes/builds this late in the game. So I just uninstalled earlier this week, dropped a slur in the D4 Reddit, and never looked back. Never touching anything by Blizzard for the rest of my life. The DLC campaign was cool though, severe lack of Mommy Lilith fics out there

>>750230070Playing through gta4 for the first time. It's... Okay. I can appreciate it as a landmark. I'm sure going to this from the ps2 was fucking mind-blowing at the time. Even now the polish and details impress me. But as a game it's just not very good. The shooting sucks even for 2008. Maybe better than rockstar's previous, but it's very boring. I actually enjoy the driving, every single vehicle handles noticeably differently. But it's the most mechanically engaging thing in the entire game (which is good since it's 60% of your playtime), and everything else is kind of a drag. I'm finding myself just taxi-ing mission to mission and forcing myself to finish the game towards the end. I like the characters and dialogue, and all of the rockstar bells and whistles are cool for a while, but the actual game has little going for it. I think I could apply this general sentiment to all of their games really. They're made for the lowest common denominator as much as cod is. They're just not put together lazily unlike most triple a franchises, so normies rave over rockstar like they're the second coming of christ. If I ever get around to finally playing rdr1 or bully hopefully it will be more fun for me but I don't have high hopes.

Just finished up a replay of witcher 1. Top tier atmosphere still holds up, I love that game. Going onto witcher 2 this weekend got it modded with mersey's fixes, speed boost, fov. Holy shit this game controls a LOT worse than I remember. Why would you teach the player to parry in the tutorial then take that shit away in the actual game and throw you into a action section where it would be REALLY useful. Dumb poles.
