Is PSO2 worth playing?
its free to play but also not really because it takes up 160gb of space and ssd space is a premium cost now.
also to make your favorite robo you need to buy parts of a set, some being level gated
New Genesis? No, not really. It never really goes anywhere narrative-wise and there's something always off about the combat.Base PSO2 though can be worth playing as you would a JRPG if you have a nostalgia for PS2-era JRPGs. Symphonia, Wild Arms, Star Ocean, that sort of nostalgia.
The game aged like milk and makes no sense today. It's like playing one of those old ass mobile games that have been alive for 10 years and when you login as a new player you get bombarded with 100 login rewards and 1000 tutorials that are confusing.
>>750235181Even when I was an active/old player every major update they'd give an NPC in town a client order that auto-completes to level you up to the new max or damn near. It's got the gacha game mindset where the less game there is to play the more the players like it.
