Isn't that game unplayable because the only people remaining are veterans from 20 years who complains if you play like a newbie. Never played it so I can't comment though, just repeating what some others have said

Nah it's not that hard. Experience certainly helps and there's a bit of a skill floor but you've got tons of possibilities to get by.

Also keep in mind that PC port is still in beta, it's very smooth and feels good but the dev is still ironing some CQC bugs and such.

Really needs a quit option now, most UI scales up well but far as I can tell you have to alt-F4 to quit.

Simultaneously way ahead of its time back in 2008 with insane amounts of content/customization/unique modes and also kind of clunky. Very arcade gameplay. Some would call it the best multiplayer ever made.

Headshot hijinks aside I think MGO2 was good fun for what it was. MGO1 was a bit simple and more a bonus mode, MGO2 was pretty much the culmination of the series gameplay and filled in for how the main game really needed more of it. MGO3 is the mess that's too much CoD with a gimmick.
