Are the community servers fun if I dgaf about ranked shit and I grew up with Source?
>>
yeah its the same as cs source you can play zombies, surf, whatever. the server browser is baked into the steam client on the desktop so no need to start the game up first.
>>
I really don't even think there are any besides maybe surf stuff. Unless the server browser doesn't work

when you join FB-CS.RU servers, skins from your inventory disappear

dedicated servers cannot modify your inventory. only matchmaking servers can. its the same as dota 2 you dont get drops playing custom games only real vac servers.

Zombie Escape is pretty fun. The GFL server is pretty much full 24/7. You have to spam join for like 30 minutes to an hour at normal times of the day to get in.

I'd just go back and play source instead, plenty of people still on there

Source and 1.6 are still very active since they can run on pretty much a Windows XP laptop. Steam client doesnt work but SteamCMD does.
