The aesthetics themselves are nice but graphically the game is shit ugly.

Its so ugly you'll be using VATS mostly to see brown enemies that blend into the brown landscape.
It looked fine. Getting to the strip as a kid for the first time blew my mind, the art direction carried a lot of the locations like Vault 22, The Strip, and the DLC areas. It looked fine. /v/tards love to write off everything as either fully LE BASED AND EPIC or “it’s shit”. Not many other 2010 open world games looked better than it.

Bethesda just doesn't get Fallout's world. They make it too goofy (and I know 2 has jokes but they are separate from the plot). There needs to be a juxtaposition.

New Vegas/fallout, Smash Melee, Gears of war, Call of duty, TF2, Elder Scrolls, Halo, Bioshock, Half life, Borderlands, Dark souls, Killing floor, Red Dead, GTA, The Witcher, Counter Strike. Feel free to add anymore you guys can think of. But the trend I noticed is that they all start out really based and just go gay from tranny invasion. The only game I play anymore is TF2 because at least I can frag trannies.

>>750238456It's an acquired taste. Lower the gamma and the colors really do pop. There's objectively ugly parts to it like the NPCs, but the overworld can be beautiful at times. Levels are atmospheric and memorable. I prefer the look to something like Starfield.
