Some will tell you to rush him, but I wouldn't do that unless you know what you're doing, or until you get a few decent combat skills. Also, you can make the Tonkin fight easier by attacking the thugs in the room first, which removes like half the adds in his bossfight. Third, you don't even have to hurt Tonkin if you don't want to, just take out all the adds in the room, then the adds during his fight, then defensive stance 3x then tap him with an easy hit to reset energy cost on defensive stance, repeat repeat repeat a few times (energy should regen well enough to keep going) and he'll usually just stand there jerkin' it to Karryn's tits in both of his phases until he finishes twice. Or you can kick his ass, whatever.
