Grace sections are worse than RE7 because everything after the Rhodes Hill Center is completely undercooked, and the Leon sections are literally all just weaker and worse versions of RE2 and RE4. No puzzles, no backtracking, no proper merchant system, worse weapon sandbox, and far worse enemy design. This is coming from an actual fan. It's a fine first playthrough but it doesn't hold up afterwards.

>>750241050If you're talking about OG RE4 then yes, you're right, but compared to RE4R Leon is slow as fuck. I know because I have over 200h in the remake and I immediately felt how much worse he controls. It's one of the reasons I actually prefer Graces parts in RE9. And enemies don't stand still on hardcore and pro. RE4R is better in every way in terms of action.
I just finished the clinic part. It's legit a 10/10 right now.
