I thought it was really boring compared to the other gta games. I couldn't even be bothered to slog through the story mode. but I somehow managed to finish gta 4.

I bought it on release and played it for like 5 hours and got bored. Years later tried playing it on pc and same exact thing. It's not a very engaging game. I think just Russians and third worlders play it online. But yeah, it's not very fun and the series is more like a meme where people buy it just because they think it's popular
