Singleplayer games are in such a rut economically that this is a good thing by the way. Maybe 15 years ago not buying this game would've taught companies that we're not stupid enough for yellow paint to be everywhere, we hate woke shit, yada yada yada. But today, it only tells companies that we want more sports and multiplayer GaaS slop or possibly more transmedia. Essentially beggars can't be choosers anymore. Welcome to 2026 where a Fallout and Mass Effect TV show gets greenlighted without a game to accompany it.
