Was it kino?
Shrek was only holding back to give Fiona a chance. Nobody is more powerful than Shrek, nobody!
It wasn't very difficult from what I remember. Enemies were very slow and very blind. You could hack remotely. Anything else could be disabled with your magic pistol. Ghosting was trivial.I tried the Spies vs Mercs multiplayer recently - it still works, even if barely alive - and I got my ass kicked there.
>>750253913You're damn right it was.Tanker level was a slight tedious but every mission takes you somewhere creative and different.
>>750255587Damn, that looks good on OLED. Might have to replay even though I just played it last year
>>750255587Why does this game from 2005 have good lighting?
>>750255717It also has good animations made without mocap.
>>750255717The technology and skill died of old age and was apparently not passed on and it has been a painful process getting it back.I personally think working within the confines of certain hardware limitations forced devs to cut fat and focus on one thing at a time.Is it easier to paint a picture with six colors or six-hundred? It would just lead to choice paralysis at every creative decision.
>>750255717tiny hallway corridors.>>750255872you act like they did hand painted vertex shadowing, a real time lighting simulation is not a lost art.
>>750253913is splinter cell 1 and 2 also kino? I only played CT and after>>750255717better hardware reduced the need for optimization and thus reduced the need for impressive artists and programmers
>>750256410>you act like they did hand painted vertex shadowingI wasnt necessarily referring to the art, just that limited choice helps creativity better than infinite choice.>is splinter cell 1 and 2 also kino?Yes, there is no bad SC, unless you count Blacklist but I really liked that one too, shame about the VA but Micheal Ironside is exactly ten trillion years old now
>>750255717because ubisoft was a tech genius, eyeballtank
With a million VR mods per minute currently dropping I really want to see someone attempt SC. Its slow methodical approach to stealth is a perfect fit for the platform.
YesPeak stealth
>>750256459Yea, they’re all great
>>750253913It's the best stealth game ever made alongside Thief 2.
>>750256459no. all you can do to people is run up and throw an elbow to the face which requires you to be extremely close to people and it doesn't even knock them out in one shot unless you hit the back of their head. you have a Five-SeveN and an F2000 but almost every mission fails if you actually kill someone with them.
