Kojima has been wanting to make a horror game now for 12 years, he's been toying with horror in every single game since TPP. TPP had the hospital sequence, the Voices mission, DS has a bunch of horror elements and sequences, including nightmares, obviously there's PT, he was gonna make Silent Hills but it fell through, then this fucking game almost fell through as well. I am more excited by this than I am Physint because he's clearly been inspired to do something with the horror genre for a long time now and it's finally coming. The fact that it's an anthology I feel will only help the game in the long term, because game campaigns these days are always too long and bloated, so this being episodic and on the shorter side is not even a negative, it only makes it more exciting that we'll get something actually concise. I just hope that whatever early rumor there was about it being a cloud game ends up not being the case.
