Bioware were the primary cancer of the western RPG, they helped popularize the dreaded RTwP combat and the romantic sidequest (which was innocent at first, but later became an entrance for homosexuals and trannies to infect the industry). They also heavily pushed the consolization and dumbing down of RPG mechanics. It wasn't until Bioware's influence started dying in the 2010s that western RPGs managed to make a comeback and we actually get good ones again. They were a scourge and I'm glad they're gone.
