I liked BD 1 and 1.5 because you could set up your entire party actions before the enemies instead of it being party members then enemy, it also used to offer QoL features that were removed in BD 2 like disabling encounter rates and whatnot, BD 1 and 1.5 made grinding a breeze which is why they were so good but BD 2 went back to making grinding a chore, only NEETs like grinding
