I think this was the reason they changed Osawa's hair color in the anime. If you watch the anime first and then you play the game, you'll notice that both Osawa and Canaan's hair colors changed. You might think, "okay, well, apparently sometimes people just randomly change their hair colors in this world". That might help prevent spoiling the twist.
