I just can't tell anymore with the "woke" stuff. I was watching that new Lanterns capeshit show and I really liked how they made Jon Stewart's mother the cause behind his fucked up upbringing instead of the father like it seemed at the start, and how the aliens had to placate her like a retarded child when she threw her tantrum about black people being mistreated. It was so comically dumb it was clear to me that the show didn't intend for the viewer to sympathize with her and I was surprised they had the balls to present such a touchy subject in a clearly negative light. But then I go online and see people saying that her lecturing the aliens was a woke moment and I'm confused as fuck. The other more /v/ related instance was the black guy they used for some of the Fable trailers. He was so comically ugly he looked like a racist caricature - big nose, no chin, thin eyebrows, it was comical.I just can't tell with this stuff anymore.
