>>750297238Powerline adapters only suck if you have shitty wiring in your house, OR you are plugging it into an outlet thats running on the same circuit as a bunch of other things that interfere with the signal when they draw power. Ideally you want to plug it in where almost nothing else is ever "turned on" and drawing power while you are using the internet so the signal gets a straight path between the adapters. If like say in the pathway between your router where your powerline adapter is, and the room where your PC and power adapter is, sombeody plugs in a vacuum cleaner and turns it on, you might lose your internets while its on. Same if it was something like a microwave or a TV. The less hitngs drawing power the better.

i tried to do pass-through ethernet for my ps5 when i first got it, because my mobo has 2 ethernet ports and my ps4 could do it no problem, but for some reason the ps5 just straight up refuses to connect through it.i've yet to even bother troubleshooting that because the ps5 is an awful dark dicks platform with no content
