Second had left on dpad and y-button missed inputs in about 6 months. Third the left trigger had missed inputs and the most recent has up-dpad, LB, right stick click and A button missed inputs. They're garbage controllers. So glad I switch to 8bitdo. Have had the 8bitdo Ultimate C since launch (2022) and has had ZERO problems. It was also 25 dollars on Amajew with a wireless charging dock. How does ANYONE tolerate Microslop, Slopny and Nintenslop first party controllers anymore? Overpriced TRASH.

>>750281773>take care of themI barely use a controller. Just for indie games and movie games (like Indiana Jones). I'm primarily keyboard and mouse. Extremely light usage. They're just junk. I bought a PS5 controller to try Ratchet & Clank out and it was just too cheap feeling to spend more time with it than that game. First party controllers are as quality as a Razer controller (pic related) meaning eWaste. Anyone who buys them is an idiot. They are designed to fail. Even if you get lucky with a more robust controller that doesn't have critical failures in soldering like mine (because they were built by street shitters in India) you will kill the sticks since they use inferior analog sticks.

I'd like to take a moment to talk about colored buttons. I like my buttons all having one solid color each. I think in terms of aesthetic, as well as a game design choice, having colored buttons is very intuitive.Microsoft used to make controllers that had nice translucent colored buttons. But with the xbone they started transitioning these buttons out. First it was "Black on Colors", meaning "black labels on colored buttons" which isn't too much of a stretch. But now we have "Colors on Black", black buttons that had colored labels akin to what playstation does with their controllers. Most of the "special edition" controllers don't even HAVE separate colors for the buttons. And if you want to mod your xbox controller to return to those four glorious colored buttons, good luck finding ANYONE that sells a set. Many 3rd parties will show that very colored set in store listing photos, but when you ask for them they're always "out of stock".Recently microsoft released the 25th anniversary controller which sees the return of colored buttons on a modern xbox controller. But of course, this is a limited edition product and has been flying off the shelves, and we'll soon go back into this dreary era of shallow colors on our buttons.
