is this game any good?
>>
It's okay but feels significantly lesser in scope than the original as it focuses entirely on Greece instead of going to other mythologies and locations.

i'm having a real hard time putting together a build that feels fun and youre tied to a horse spirit that keeps yammering

>game is called TITAN quest
>is set outside Greece
I mean it's cool to see other mythologies but I always found it strange
>>
>>750283752
at least it feels like there's more greek gods this time
>>
>>750283752
I keep seeing this argument, the original added other mythologies through expansions and I don't see why they wouldn't do the same if this sells well.

The main question is, will it suck? EA players have said its mediocre.

It should just focus on Greece, even with expansions, unless it's like Thrace or Western Anatolia. The first game was just jarring with how it handled all the locations desu
I haven't played TQ2 yet, heard it isn't very optimized at the moment so idk if I could run it well right now or not, but maybe I'll pick it up soon anyway. There's no way you actually need 32GB of RAM right?

It's main issues currently I think are bad enemy/gear/build variety.
>>
>>750286705
the second act of the game is set in fucking ancient Egypt
all the expansions did was add more Greek related locations like Hades and Atlantis
>>
>>750287267
You have no clue about China and Norway uh? Also Atlantis has similarities but its not Greece by any means. Its like calling Calling Rome Greece
>>
EA has been decent so far. Looks promising.
>>

It could turn out to be something decent. But with the release date so close, I have heavy doubts.

Atlantis is a fictional place from greek mythology. It's fairly reasonable to treat it as Greece+.

Haven't heard much about it since the EA release, which makes me think it's not very good. Late January is a good release date for them since PoE2 1.0 hype is definitely over by then and the price is quite fair.

look above, marocco is the head of a dolphin. zoom in on the area to see the rows of teeth

I have faith in devs since I absolutely loved Spellforce 3 (vanilla was great for me, but that troll expansion was fantastic), but I ain't touching ea games.

took a bite out of the fish

It's OK I guess but the skills are mostly underwhelming, gear is really uninteresting, and there aren't a whole lot of actually good options for building your character.
