>>750286485I really liked how it tried to reverse engineer it.At first it tried to open the firmware upgrade files on hex editors and see whether it can see patterns and whether common decryption algorithms would just work, then it gave up and searched the web for any info about the firmware, it found a repo that just had firmware files for MP860 and MP870 and apparently the latter also had a Windows utility that did the upgrades, then it downloaded the MP870 Windows update utility, reverse engineered it in my system's Ghidra to see how it decrypts the 870's firmware files, then it tried to do the same process on the MP860's files and it actually worked.
