Why did she conceal from Geralt what she knows when he had amnesia?

Because the Witcher sequels have bad writing

I'd take Triss over that cunt Yen any day of the week.
>>750283697originally?because her character was a fusion of yen and triss and they just didn't plan to have yen at all, just like ciri, because geralt also was not supposed to be the main character, it was a noname witcher.as things changed to be closer to book canon, it made her look bad because the initial plan was to not have that be an issue at all

>>750285008This is the answer. W1 Triss isn't Triss, she's just generic sorceress loosely based on Yen and Triss. When 2 was being made and they wanted to bring things back to canon, I thought they handled her perfectly. She suggests and helps Geralt to find the rose of remembrance, knowing full well he'll remember Yen and leave her. She still helps him with it regardless. When 3 starts, regardless of the choices you made in 2, Triss and Geralt split ways amicably, Triss holding no ill sentiment towards him going to look for Yen. Given the context of how weird 1 was, I don't think she could have been handled better.
>>750283697>get amnesia>plow triss multiple times a day>get memory back>plow triss multiple times a day
