>make a viking game
>you're allowed to murder innocent Christians and steal from churches and burn down villages
>you're not allowed to rape or abuse civilian women

So just rape and abuse the non-civilian women.

>Vikings took a ton of Slavic people as thralls
>but modern Scandinavians don't have any significant amount of Slavic DNA, which implies they didn't rape their slaves
>however after Vikings invaded England Anglo-Saxon DNA somehow turns up in Scandinavia
>this implies Vikings didn't procreate with rape, but accepted Anglo-Saxon women as suitable wives (and not raped slaves)
Vikings probably didn't rape a lot
>but hur dur what about that one muslim guy, who wrote about vikings
He wrote about the Rus, which adopted a lot of brutal local customs and they are not representative of their people. It's like reconstructing American culture by only taking into accounts how foreign nations interacted with American sailors. The Rus wouldn't have acted like they did, if their mothers and sisters were watching them. But they were kept home, while they acted like rowdy biker gangers.
