Wolverine's gameplay was just Spider-Man but less interesting. They should have emphasized the stealth elements so the game stood out. Set the game in Africa or the Amazon and make it so enemies have adamantium bullets and Wolverine has to pick them off like a stealthy hunter so he doesn't get overwhelmed.

This game was kind of a perfect storm of bad decisions and a bit of karma for the lazy mechanics they put into the spiderman games. Though the biggest sin is it isn't fun. People can forgive formulaic games if they are fun.
