>>750285524It was an examination of Abbey and Owen's relationship and I would say this is the tipping point of the whole "we gotta protect innocent people" power dynamic between them and their situationship. Owen basically has given up and abandoned mel and his child because he admires Abbey's flowering change but he's actually holding Abbey back morally and making her worse now that she's on the path that he kinda initiated. The main message I took from this is that Owen is actually regressive and bad for Abbey once this happens
