Thank you.I went through days of staring at my game libraries, physical and digital both, trying to find a game that fit this beautiful song. The 'place where he inserted the blade' has a rich, nuanced, multi-layered meaning: the innocuous kitchen question of where he inserted the blade to the chicken that the singer made, but also of the unspoken traumas to which one can only vaguely allude even though one tries to speak of it, but also of how an innocuous comment or image can bring to mind horrific traumas as of PTSD, but also of how one might very slowly unravel one's pain through vulnerability. Figuring out exactly how to sing it was tough, each verse was done in one go, so the only cuts between takes are when it switches to a new verse or to the chorus. Sounds obvious enough but for a rap song getting each of these verses down at once was hard! Had to figure out good places to breathe because there was no way I could do it on one breath.
