i wouldnt mind living in balmoramorrowind thread (or tes general complaints)
>>750299917For me? Ald'ruhn. Not a MW complaint per se, but I strongly dislike OAAB assets.
>>750300579i'm not sure i could bring myself to live in a husk of another giant animal that hasnt been seen in a while
I gave Morrowind a try many years ago, it's definitely overrated given how much people praise it. NPCs from across the map respond to the same keyword in the same exact manner: blah blah blah, outlander. This is a game devoid of voice acting, so this is just Bethesda being lazy. This game, along with everything Bethesda makes are games impossible to be immersed in, because of things like this, a severe lack of attention to detail. The games are open, but often you have little choice in what to do in a quest, it's all a series about quantity over quality.

>>750299917One of my favorite parts of any new playthrough is finding the perfect home for the character. Each character ends up with their own preferences to what would make a "good" home, so its always an appreciable pursuit that exists in the back of my mind in every new area I explore. What houses look nice, what region, what placement in the town, am I amorally seeking to claim a home for myself at the cost of its owners or am I hoping for somewhere abandoned or populated with villains to be dispatched? Just recently I've been doing the Telvanni house for Tamriel Rebuilt, and have dutifully served the blatantly evil Lord Vaerin, and once I've used him up, I'll slaughter him and his retainers in the tower and claim Alt Bosara for myself. as far as where I'd want to live on vvardenfell as myself, Pelagiad seems very cozy compared to most towns. temperate location unlike the ashlands or swamps or mucky locations most towns are in, small population yet still receives regular foot traffic and trade, no deep seated corruption or larger involvement in house politics. Great little place to settle down in.

>>750301860i like this mindset but typically i pick the one house along the waterway, v something? and one of the low level fighters guild or mages has you kill them. the manor is great too but everyone uses that so i like to be less brash than using a perm corpse as storage
