The whole anti-GKC movement died because people remembered Steam and PC digital purchases a whole exists lol. The second best selling game in Japan this year is a GKC lol

The problem is if you're opposed and don't buy it the only message that sends is "just make the game digital only"
It may get better as the gen progresses because more size options are likely to be made available to publishers but I'm not optimistic given the pricing woes
