Is it just me or was the pacing for the first episode all over the fucking place? Scenes switched from one to the next with basically zero rhyme or reason and shots that would absolutely have had more of an impact were they more complete in as little as one aspect (the scene where roman runs into Talia for the first time comes to mind; he's walking through an apartment complex and all of a sudden the scene jumps to a shot of her falling from one of the higher floors with zero sound design to accompany it and no visuals to lead up to it; they could at least have animated a scene of roman gasping then holding up his camera to transition into the shots of Talia's descent but nope) were essentially neutered into jarring messes because of how poorly they were executed. More than that though, there were so many still shots all throughout that it really threw me off; it'd be a scene that's reasonably well animated one second and shifts to a static shot of a fucking window or the statueesque side of a character's face the next (because, bear in mind, they wouldnt be moving at all), and I'd be fine with it if these shots lasted for maybe a second or two max but they're actually long as fuck and not infrequent enough to be negligible. Now I only really watched the first episode and it's entirely possible that it gets better later on but I gotta say, seeing that shit really turned me off a tad; it just gives the impression that this season was sort of an afterthought Also the opening sucks dick
