The lack of mew major post-launch content is really hurting Mario Kart World. Seeing how much Mickey Mouse Racing added in 3 years compared to how much Mario Kart World added in a year just shows Nintendo didn't really have many plans to support MKW post-launch as it's mainly just been adding new Knock-Out Tour Rallies through the courses and routes they already have in the game and making it that you can now play the SNES track recreations outside of Free Roam.
