PS3 and PS4 emulators are still shit and require high spec PCs. PS3 emulation especially is embarrassing since the actual PS3 is basically a potato with 256MB RAM. Recomps require systems just slightly better than the actual console so they're good

Recomps have more quality of life features generally. Not every option works properly but I've played multiple recomps and didn't notice any major issues. The extra QoL features made me enjoy the game more.
