Better than the first game?
I think the general consensus is that 2 is better than 1 in pretty much every way, except story (and arguably Cole's voice actor).

Yes,I liked both but the first game just felt more like a third person shooter and the attacks just emulated gun,shotgun,sniper and the melee was an absolute joke.Second one really felt like you had powers,throwing cars and tornadoes was fun and not new Orleans is a really beautiful city
