>Price tag expected to be $1k to $1.8k>Games are taking longer and longer to make>Current gen barely has any games as it isJust how fucked is next gen?
I'm buying the xbox for BC. Sony's not gonna have a first party game worth buying it for.
>>750313029Totally fucked for 3rd worlders. But all gaming is at this point.
These systems are never coming out. There will be a correction in the industry before and they will be delayed or shelved. Next gen hardware won’t come until 2030 or later and be weaker and cheaper.
>>750313029You would have to be genuinely retarded to still be buying consoles. They could be 1k$ and you'd likely still only be paying less than half up front due to forced subscriptions and the price hikes afforded by their monopoly.>>750313120>Buying it for BC, not even BBCMan shrinkflation is hitting consolefags hard.
>>750313147Shit is already ordered. AMD announced they are shipping the Helix chip next year.
>>750313029in a sane world i would have said next gen was going to be the second collapse of the video game industry but jews have done a fantastic job grooming the goys into being the most dedicated niggercattle possible
>>750313029Will probably be the longest cross gen release era in gaming history. Reminder that the PS4 still gets games
I've been a consolefag forever but I think I'm just going to give up on ever playing new games in a few years. I'm not paying $1k for a console where I don't even own the games. I can't even afford a PC to just pirate everything.
>>750313029Not any more fucked than the current one, which is already unsalvageable clown world shit.
>>750313391Damn straight, and there's no good reason for it to stop.
>>750313491You can play more than enough good games on whatever device you made that post from.
>>750313217You thought you cooked hard with that joke lol
I expect them to try Stadia again.(By them I mean anyone not just Google)By that time it might be the least worst option.
>>750313029It will be a continuation of this gen. Even with buyers, prices are high because this is a shortage. You don’t just pump out tens of millions of consoles. The industry as a whole is hard to read. Layoffs and closures suggest they’re cutting the fat and focusing to fix it, but it’s the same retards as before. Could mean a golden resurgence of small, ambitious studios, or the same garbage but less in general. Then there’s AI.
>>750313724I'm a brainlet but I've been trying to mess around with retroarch and gamenative and stuff on my phone. I'm looking to get some kind of hdmi thing soon, and a mount for the ps5 controller. Otherwise I've got a HP laptop from 2017 that runs full tilt just to watch youtube at 480p.It's an S26 Ultra and I think that's way more powerful than most chinkhelds.
>>750314929You should look into a base model deck or other handheld pc. They can handle everything but the most demanding recent games, which is a staggering library. I haven’t used mine too much, but it feels like my most valuable console after trying emulation. I finally understand how you can be perfectly satisfied without new games.
Modern AAA games take more time to make than a generation lasts.Even Cawadooty now takes 4 years to make with thousands of people of support.Cancelled Mass Effect was in early stages of development after 5 years from initial trailer/teaser
>>750313029we, yes we are ALL getting gaming pcs in 10th gen
