Fucking adore this series.1 > 3 > 2 > 2R > 5 > 41's the least polished but most intense and atmospheric.3's the most polished but shits the bed in its final act.2's got the best pacing but some of the weakest actual combat.2R greatly improves the combat but the pacing takes a considerable hit.5's got shoddy pacing and5's got the most active combat but shoddy pacing and the worst story.4's one of the strongest in terms of atmosphere but has the worst combat and level design.
