How many people actually own just a Nintendo console? I was always under the impression that Nintendo consoles were always secondary consoles and everyone either had a PC for their main gaming or another console.

when i saw switch lite was only 155 dollars a few years ago I picked it up because it was cheaper than a home console. the switch lite has a very short battery life (like 2-3 hours, no joke wont even last a cross country plane ride) and quite wonky control sticks but its okay because repairs are cheap, cheaper than a new controller at least.it was a decent buy for portable gaming considering the steam deck was like 600 at release and ive gotten a lot of mileage out of it. at this point i dont think i would purchase a switch lite though since i could just save up for a switch 2 if i really wanted a portable gaming device.
Nintendo doesn't sell their products in the third world so if you never see them that's probably why
