Which makes sense given Kamitani cut his teeth on Capcom Beat em ups. If you enjoy that fundamental gameplay at some level DC adds a bunch of extra systems to make that experience richer. But if you think those games are all just mindless button mashing that play the same I doubt DC will suddenly change your mind.

>>750529776Beating the story mode is pretty easy although it can provide some challenge on a first playthrough but the story is literally just the tutorial for the post-game which is an endless tower type deal with scaling difficulty. The main issue with it is that it does get repetitive after a while because the story mode is pretty short and the post-game is just reusing the enemies introduced throughout the story which leads to a pretty limited enemy variety even if behaviours can change on higher difficulty.
