Yeah that's my read too. I/Ls still have the perception of being top dogs (tbf they technically are with the current content) so nobody's gonna clamor for the desperately needed TB buffs or more viable lightning-weak maps. Meanwhile clerics are just gonna get more and more undead mobs with every major update (Forgotten Hollow, Orbis, Nath) while I/Ls get jack shit, and priest is likely to receive some big buffs while I/L would be lucky to get off without additional nerfs to thunder spear.

I rerolled cleric after hitting lv40 I/L because I'm just so cynical about the balance with this game, especially mages are just a shitshow so I may as well pick the one that people inexplicably think is "weak" in case nexon decides to buff them. I can always jump back over to my I/L if they surprise me with TB buffs or maybe some new mobs in FH that weren't in the beta tests, but I just can't imagine having literally zero new good mobs or maps to look forward to for like a year.

I think they're the coolest class in the game but that leans a lot on TB mobbing for me. After 15 hours at fire boars realizing I'd be spending the next 40 levels spamming cold beam the class just lost all appeal honestly. What's the point of I/L when the lightning skill is just worthless? At least clerics get to have the option to heal train on jr wraiths once they hit level 50 or so and it's, like, actually pretty good.

Plus I'm so pissed they didn't do ANYTHING with slow. The combination of CB becoming the new meta and slow still wasting a 2nd job slot blows my mind. We're slowing shit full time as our only viable attack skill nigga, why the fuck is slow still there? What did they DO to my class??

Mastery helps a ton and rush feels good to use outside of it bugging out. If you feel like melee isn't for you when you hit early 2nd job just switch as it'll be similar for a long time.

TB mobbing is just never going to be viable with the new gimped spawns. There are a couple of spots you can kind of do it if you channel hop, but it's not great XP and you get hit a lot.

Slow is a good thing. You want one worthless skill so you don't have to worry about what to put points into for second job.

I'm lvl 42 and I can grind around 40k mesos an hour before factoring in scroll drops or whatever which are a bit more random. People are buying NX and selling it for in-game mesos at a 1:9 ratio (i.e. US$10 = 90K mesos)

Even looking at 1st job warriors you see a tiny bit of arguing over how far you take slash blast, is iron body worthwhile, is precise strikes worth maxing or should you just get a +acc helm, etc. And then you have 2nd job F/P and I/L where it's like "yeah you max everything but slow" and that's it.
