nah capcom is doing fine since their investment on the RE engine paid off. Virtually all their 3D games are using it and they now have a decade of expertise using that engine.

i really don't understand the appeal of this shit, i tried aion 2 recently and from level 1 you are doing completely over the top flashy shit, it really isn't enjoyable to be OP from the beginning as it kills any sense of progress

The game has ultimates which require you to fill an energy bar before you can use them, and some of them are long autocombos. But I don't see how "flashy animations with simple inputs" is any kind of actual criticism, do you want the game to require you to draw pentagrams with the thumbsticks before it lets you do something that looks cool? Anyway, the gameplay is roughly just Sekiro but with flashier moves and more weapon variety.
