i played this recently for the first time and i got like 2 hours in before i dropped it. just a miserable game to play. the mech levels are shit. the knuckles ones were just a slog. i was stuck for like 15 minutes on one where you needed to break through a wall but there's nothing indicating to you that you need to do that.

SA1 is so much better it's not even funny.
