Don't see the appeal of Strength weapons in this one it's where they started to get really overshadowed by the fast ones. In the later games From started going in on the stagger bars to give big slow weapons a niche but even then it's not perfect.

But that 15 points of strength are really hard to slot into a build that already has 50 SKL/BLT. So if you have either decided between forsaking the BLT so that your melee damage is semi-passable, or be content with having a lower damage than an unbuffed Reiterpallasch. (The fact the Reiterpallasch can be buffed while the Rifle Spear can't will never not be funny.)

Yharnam isn't fucked from the ritual, just everything else. Cleric beast was too tall so you had to fish for parries or to run behind him.Father Gascoigne was a fantastic fight.BSB was hard to properly see what it was doing and way too tanky.Darkbeast Paarl is another large enemy that is super fast, has a lot of health, and can be hard to properly see what it's doing.Fought Paarl 3 times and I just quit because I wasn't having fun, just going through the motions. >>750908490Your stats are fine, personally I wouldn't have that much stamina (at level 12 you have 120 stam) but you're still past the softcap for STR Skill and VIT. The Old Hunters at the beginning of the DLC do have a lot of health. If I were you just parryspam them if you really want to fight them because you have super high skill and run through the DLC picking up the DLC items and soon enough you'll be at the first boss because it's pretty early on.
I still love pretty much everything about this game. I even find the much-maligned chalices fun. I don't care if it's not hard by Elden Ring standards. Setting, world, lore, atmosphere and sound design, trick weapons, and dash make the game more enjoyable to play than any From except Sekiro I think. I can't believe they never gave it an official PC release. I have a real bad feeling in my gut that something Bloodborne related will be in the launch window of the PS6 and force me to buy their shitty digital only system.

The sword's speed makes it great for subduing fast enemies and for rallying back health. Especially since it has the same notably high rally value of 120. Plus its thrust can come in handy from time to time. Hard to ever call a straight sword bad though.
