What the point of paying $5k for a rig just to emulate a $500 console. I think PC fags are retarded.
>>
Where have you been seeing these "$500 consoles"?
>>
>>750881271
so you truly think people don't do anything else with pc
>>
do you realize you can play PC games on a PC right?
>>
>>750881271

your lack of imagination isn't my concern. i can emulate DKC2 and i can play a VR Star Wars Freespace 2 overhaul with a flight stick.

I don't want to assume. But I'm guessing OP is from a country that often has power outages. You know what I'm implying. In his country they likely don't use devices for anything more than entertainment.

1. an average pc doesn't cost 5k, not even 1.5k with modern prices.
2. you own the games (repacks and cracks)
3. it's better in native games
4. pc is multifunctional, I watch movies, work, etc. when you buy a console you buy a toy that can only run games and nothing more.

I do own two consoles though (switch & ps3), but only because they are cheap, old & jailbroken. I like owning a small nice box to play older games or splitscreen games on my tv

Air beds are comfy as fuck. If you're broke as fuck and don't mind a little maintenance, they make queen size air mattresses for camping and guests and stuff. You just need an air pump and a few patch kits in case they get holes. Just try it. If you don't like it, you can also store them. Having an extra portable mattress isn't a bad thing.

Sleep Number beds fix that. They're just high-end air mattresses. No upkeep, no patching, can adjust the firmness with a remote, they're actual beds, etc. I'm gonna shill that shit. When you're old enough to start waking up with back pain and shit, remember my shill. You'll thank me. If you can't spare the $2500, an air mattress will still save your back for 1/10th the price if you don't mind the jank.
>>
>>750881271
are you talking about ps5 emulation or switch 2 emulation

A $150 backup power supply will run your PC and 1 monitor for 10-15 minutes and intercept any power flickers that cause everything else to shut down/reset.
Another $70 power supply on your router will keep you from losing internet. Or plug it in to the PC's backup power if it's close enough.
In a true SHTF scenario, those backup power supplies can charge your phone completely 20+ times.

Don't know why more people don't use them.

I'm gonna laugh my ass off when the 6 year old OG PS5 plays GTA6 as poorly as the PS4 did for Cyberspunk 2077, and even the PS5Pro makes you choose between performance and cinematic. Meanwhile I'll be emulating it at 4k and 60fps on my PC. Eh, maybe a day or two later but I'll manage.
>>
Its a status thing. Pc fatasses like to think they're some kind of dreamboat vagabond sticking it to the man by pirating all their games to play it with frequent visual bugs, frame dips, and crashes. Not to mention they never beat these games they pirate, they just play it for 30 minutes then hop back onto forums to brag about how they pirated it lol.
In reality they're just obese sweat drenched retards who haven't seen the sun in god knows how long, and the closest they've ever been to a woman is in their thoughts and their constant AGP since we all know how much pcfags love to swap genders like it's a linux distro.
>>
>>750883140
Buddy, the PS5 Pro has 16gb unified ram shared between the CPU and GPU. This is dedicated ram for the cpu in pesos.

Honestly, most people actually don't use their PC for much more than opening a web browser these days outside of professionals. There's a reason why a lot of people only own a smartphone and the younger generations can't navigate or troubleshoot a PC. I know what you're saying, but that's just the way it is now. I used to do all kinds of programming and tinkering myself but even for me now it's the same. I don't have a job that requires using it anymore, so it's mostly just an expensive way to open a web browser.

Hardware enthusiasm is a separate hobby to video games. You wouldn't understand. Video games are the justification for the expense, the real end in itself is just the hardware and benchmarking.

About 90% of microchip on the planet are are produced by 1 company out of Taiwan. So they're not quite as abundant as it may seem. If there is a huge demand for chips, like with the AI craze, then the price skyrockets.

Trump promised to make the US its own domestic producer of chips, but that never happened. So we're still underneath this global demand.

Air mattresses are terrible if you sleep on your back, they have no lumbar support like a spring mattress does, so your body just sinks and you wake up with a sore back. Only time I ever had to crack my back in the morning was when I slept on an air mattress. I'd rather sleep on the bare floor.

Companies are chasing the AI grift. DDR5 RAM supply got squeezed.
Companies are actually creating more Fabs because even the AI companies will start complaining about the prices in a year.
The price for DDR5 will drop about 20-30% by 2029, it won't go any lower until DDR6 supplants it. DDR6 introduction coincides with the new fabs which will keep the prices high for a time.
I can't fault the companies for wanting to chase profit but the way it's gone is if you aren't an AI company you are a second class consumer now.
>>
>>750893691
No, they have to engrave the demons into the circuitry using plasma created from shooting lasers at droplets of liquid tin as they fall.
Each droplet gets shot twice, because using enough energy to create plasma in one shot actually causes the tin to explode instead. The first shot heats it and slightly deforms it and the second shot turns it into plasma.
Then the wild ride doesn't even stop there, they go through magic liquid mirrors to focus the resulting beam, to be able to violate any particles it needs to.

now its
XBOX 3.1
XBOX 3.1s
XBOX 3.1u
XBOX 3.7z
for a single generation. The second 'upgrades' came along, what little meaning there was a for a console to exist, ceased to exist.
Then on top of doubling down to fuck their customers as hard as possible by stealing their games every generation.

Honestly, you'd have to be some kind of retarded cuck to buy a console past 2000+15.
..That does explain a lot though. Huh.
