General lore spoilers. Do not read if you haven't finished the "Do not expose people's secrets" part of the story in autumn:Ok, so Yoh killed Piro. She had the "disease." The disease is basically the evil God's corruption/possesion of a person. You first see it happen with Yoh on the night Piro is murdered, but your first red eye interaction is with Sumire. According to the book on it, children are more prone to aquiring it, and breaking the code(like going out at night) makes them more susceptible to getting the disease. The disease makes them murdermode. The first night, Yoh knocks on the door to ask if she can sleep with Piro. She broke the code and opened the door to let the evil God in. The second night, she returned, afflicted with the disease and having the spooky broken diseased speech. Yoh, under the evil God's influence, then went and did a murder on Piro. Yoh hands physically killed Piro. Imagine if she knew.
