But it's pretty remarkable how cluelessly they've been handling this franchise for this long. Don't get me wrong either, loved DOA5, played the shit outta it, and DOA6 was fun but just really lacking in features. So it's not that I hate the games post-Itagaki. But I really would have thought they'd learned their lesson after they literally killed DOA6 prematurely with their stupid "we're making it less fan service actually but then actually oh wait that's a disaster nevermind" clusterfuck leading to release and then beating themselves to death with their own greed with the dlc rape. But then they came back after all that not having learned a fucking thing with DOA6 Last Round, adding nothing to the game and reselling just to go right back to the same dlc crap that alienated their fan base but at double the price AND then started talking about trying not to go too hard on fan service again because of this obsession with being tourneyfag worthy. It's just insane at this point how clueless and self destructive they have been with the franchise so it's hard to place much faith that they will suddenly wake up and learn their lesson. I hope so though, I would fucking love for DOA7 to actually turn out well.
