It's the first tuesday of the Month and you know the drill. Drops in 15 minutes.
No, it's an hour and 11 minutes actually.
OHHHH I'M LEAKIIIING!!!
>>750890427>battlenetyeah fuck off
>>750890110it's going to be sega slop again, what's with that anyway
>>750890261wrong chud
>>750890427Nice, I was looking for Shinobi thanks for the early leak anon, will grab a cheap key
>>750890473Daylight savings time ended. I don't care if you don't follow it, we do. You have to wait an hour more.
Have they started putting in good games again? Stopped caring about them 3 years ago because they only put garbage in these.
>>750890582Who the fuck is "we"?
>>750890582wtf, turns out you were rightwell 58 more minutes then
>>750890681>Anon doesn't change his clocks multiple times a year to maximize daylight hours for peak working efficiently for Shekelberg
if i sub right now do i get october and november's games??
>>750891047Yeah so never resub before the 15th but its a gamble in case there's a coupon or shit games next month
>wait for a discount>get it on sunday for $12>bundle get's another discount for $10 yesterdayFuck this shit, I'm going to wait till the very last day to buy it
>Humble Trans Lives Matter Bundle
>>750890110Probably something stupid like voting day bundle. But they not-so-subtly make everything look blue
I love humble monthly.Their games are always going dirt cheap on keysites. You could probably get every game on there for less than the subscription cost
>>750891385Factually incorrect but you save money by leaving out the games you wouldn't even play. The headliner alone stays above $6 usually
>>750891385It's great if you're interested in buying one or two of the bundle, but if a majority of them are interesting to you it can, keyword can, get more expensive than buying the bundle
>>750891047No
There hasn't been a good bundle since Persona 5 Royal was on. It's just the same old trash shovelware.
>>750890427Big if true, I would buy this one. But probably fake.
>>750891712you can hate it, but there are always multiple games people actually want every month and it keeps selling because of that. reselling the keys is literally profitable.
How much does IGN pay whatever nigger monkey runs this website to keep making these advertisement threads every month? It has been like 7 years since the last time anyone gave a fuck about Humble Bundle
>>750891568>>750891509>if a majority of them are interesting to youlets be realistic here, when was the last time one of these bundles had more than 3 games that were even remotely good? Also speaking about Monthly (that was the pre-jewish name) specifically where you can only pick like 3 or 4 games anyway
>>750891854yeah how dare someone on /v/ talk about vidya instead of political ragebait or porn
>>750891751>probably fakepost hand and iq test result
>>750891864>when was the last time one of these bundles had more than 3 games that were even remotely goodthe choice bundles? they literally always do, the only question is if you personally find 3 worth your own time, which has more to do with genre and style than quality. >Also speaking about Monthly (that was the pre-jewish name) specifically where you can only pick like 3 or 4 games anywayit's always funny when people have no clue what they're talking about but speak anyway. you get all of the games from Choice (aka Monthly).
>>750890110Completely forgot this site existed
>>750891864I think I've had my 7€ worth each month I've bought and there's still one or more game per month I haven't even gotten to yet
There has to be a limit to how many indie roguelite deckbuilders there are in existence, surely
>>750892032>you get all of the gamesDo you again? When i last subbed to one of these it was still only 3 or 4 games
>>750892032That anon was correct, there was a brief cursed period where they made you pick rather than get the whole thing
>>750892219you haven't had to choose since february 2022. if you thought you did, no wonder you didn't see the value in the bundles, half of what makes them worth it is that you can keep the few games you want and sell the keys for the rest to pretty much nothing or sometimes literally profit if the big ticket game wasn't one of the ones you wanted.
>>750892219You could skip that period entirely by never cancelling your subscription and just not paying for the shit months.
>>750892182It's a genre about trying basically the same thing over and over until you have a disproportionate success. No shit the devs keep making them.
This sure is one remarkable and organic thread discussing Videogames™I am now sufficiently informed of the value proposition being presented here and will proceed to purchase my monthly subscription to IGN's Humble Bundle, which offers an amazing list of carefully curated, top choice Videogames™ every month!
>>750892319"was" correct is just saying "is" wrong. I know there was like 2 years where you chose games, but it was so long ago that anybody that doesn't realize that isn't how it works obviously doesn't know what they're talking about at all for the bundles.
>>750891854>>750892421Uh oh schizoid autismo melty
>>750892421seethe more, some of us can afford cheap games.
Do I get the current month? Do I need to know anything about the current Yakuza story
when is returnal gonna be in one of these? i refunded because it has a shitty memory leak>>750892421diaper filled?
>>750891262There was a $10 discount? The fuck, I begrudgingly bought this month's bundle just a few hours ago for $12
>>750892601It's the 10th game in the series, so nine to go for you as this one is a character epilogue
>>750892705Fuck that, I gave up at 2
>>750892607Considering everyone got the $10 discount exactly 22 hours ago you should've already had it by a few hours ago
>>750892757If you gave up at 2 already why would you even be interested in the objectively worse, instantly forgotten games of the series?
>>750892793If you're talking about the thing where they email you begging you to rejoin I didn't get that, I got it like two months ago
>>750892859Whatever the guy from 0 is called on a retarded autistic pirate adventure in Hawaii sounds better than yet another episode of Kiryu fighting some other buff guy while yapping about muh Dojima clanAlso fuck every retard defending 2. They ruined AIKA.
>>750893031The one that comes in the coupons section for everyone pausing/cancelled in the last 24 hours.
>>750893172Oh, well I only subscribe for the months I'm interested in and then immediately cancel, and I didn't subscribe last month
WHat's the appeal of yakuza games? How did it get as many games as FF?
>>750893389Bet you had it but you clicked to subscribe through the link on the email so it got bypassed by the more expensive one
>>750890427Eh, that looks alright. Don't much care about Mafia but at a bundle price it'd be worth a quick play just for spectacle. Outer Worlds 2 is shit but at bundle price it's worth fucking around, bnet key instead of Steam sucks but again at a bundle price I don't really care. Shinobi would probably be cool, and another Yakuza's great. Looks like a fine use of $9 to me although I keep waiting for the fuckers to put Age of Wonders 4 in. They've put every other goddamn Paradox published strategy game in existence in there including Age of Wonders Planetfall but they keep blueballing me on 4
>>750893564>pretty good rpg brawler baseline gameplay>serious and compelling main storylines usually>silly side content for people that don't want it too serious, and they're usually genuinely funny>tons of really well done side content and minigames, everything from claw machines to fully playable classic sega arcade games to slotcar racing to business management sims, ect
>>750893593Like I said, I didn't get the email this month, I got it a couple months ago and used it then. This month I waited until the last day to see if I'd get the email, didn't get it, so I went to the homepage and saw there was a Halloween promo code so I used that instead
>>750890427>battlenetEasy skip, just like this month.
>>7508930520 is the bestidc what everyone else says
>>750890427Shit bundle.
FUCK
>Crisol>release date>10 FEB 2026damn, what a blunder
>>750894335>>750894360>shinobibased>yakuza 6seems good>crisolbased>dysmantle>looks good>squeakrossbasedoverall good humble
Shinobi, Crisol, and Squakross were all games I was after. Reasonably solid.
>>750894391It came out last year on console. Before Outer Worlds 2 actually, which is the real why the fuck did you make this blunder of the bunch. Being a Battle.net key really puts the cherry on top of that shit sandwich.
>BattleNEET key
>>750894335>>750894360Crisol looks like some horrorslop, don't give a shit. Space Haven looks like it might be kino. Dysmantle is probably shit but it'll be worth installing and trying out. And sex mouse puzzle time is some casual shit but tossed in a bundle hell yeah I'll play some picross. I'm content
>battlenetso people use this for more than blizzshit?
>Battle.netkek no
>>750894335>>750894360>Battlenetlol
Did they really skip Yakuza 5?
>>750894535Desu I'm a massive pussy with horror games, Crisol seems to have the same "horror" as BioShock, which is none at all.
>>750894576No, which is why they just threw the key into this bundle because they know nobody will care about it. OW2 probably could have headlined were it a Steam key.
>Yakuza 8>Yakuza on Boats>Yakuza 6what a curious order
>>750894360I read that as Dystmantle and for a second I thought it might be a Myst style game, fuck I am retarded
>>750894736I'm only missing Kiwami 2 and yakuza 5, I know kiwami 2 was on a bundle but they skipped 5 iirc
>>750894634I actually have a friend that's too bitchmade to play Bioshock because of the horror elements. Shit baffles me.
imo the most surprising thing here is that the outer worlds got a sequel, that game was ass
>>750894391The studio shut down a few months ago because it flopped. The game is probably gonna be 90% off soon on steam
>>750894634Is it more of a shooter? The Steam page talked about survival horror and screens were making me think of all those fucking... Uh... Man from Medan games or whatever the fuck they were. Which typing that into Steam I'm not even seeing them so I know what I'm talking about but that's apparently not the title
>>750894335>guess i'll finally play Outer Worlds 2>battlenet key
>battle.netLMAO
>>750894882Nobody asked for it and nobody bought it, which is why it's here in a bundle (and not even the headline game) 12 months after launch.
man they really don't want people to redeem outer worlds 2
>>750894335Jesus nu mafia went THAT bad to be already in an humble?
>>750894882I played a few hours of it before my free game pass gravy train ran out and it's weird as hell. As boring as the Outer Worlds 1 was, 2 was even worse, but it doesn't make much sense because mechanically it's better than 1. The shooting felt better, the skills seemed more important, etc. It also has suspiciously shit performance. Now that I've got a copy I'll play the whole thing at some point but my initial impression was a rollercoaster
skip
>>750895268don't look at the featured bundle, the sci-fi one
>>750895447oh NO NO NO NO NO NO NO
>>750895447But robo want oreo
>>750895447What? Marathon? That was a game that had NO hope of being something decent. Whats the problem with nu mafia?
>>750894391I remember how the devs tried to guiltrip Spanish-speaking audiences into buying it because it was made by a Spaniard studio and Spanish-speaking youtubers and e-celebs followed. Good riddance; you should sell yoir game based on merit and not due to "language solidarity" or some shit.
i will be saving this month
>>750891751>>750891915Still waiting
good month, boughted. still disappointed that OW2 is a battle.net key instead of a steam key. means i won't be playing it and the key will go to waste. yakuza, shinobi, crisol, and mafia are all worth it, tho. mouse game and dysmantle look okay as well. will probably give the space haven key to a friend or something.
>>750894335The Outer Worlds 2 was fun but I ddi prefer Avowed. Weird it's battlenet and not even xbox app.Squeakcross could be cool if it is not just picross but has added stuff to give puzzles meaning and context.
>>750894335
>>750895292My #1 tip is to take perks when they pop up. Don't pussy out and embrace the fun system. You get added benefits later too for taking a lot.
>>750890110>Battle.NETLMAO. MicroSlop really doesn't want to make money on it.
Value wise it seems pretty fine. I just can't see myself playing any of those games within the next year so I shant be buying
>nuMafia>nuObsidian>on battlenetkek
>>750894335>battlenetlolalso it's funny to think that MS wanted the outer worlds 2 to be $80
>>750894335>Battlenet What Isn't that Blizzard's store?
>>750896983yeahMicroslop owns both studios and is obsessed with monopolizing everything thus trying to force people away from steam and onto bnet instead
>>750890110Holding out for Black Friday annual deal?
>>750894335>>750894360People shit on Choice but if you play variety of games instead of sticking to something specific they're great deals. Hell, if you stuck with you almost have the entire Yakuza series by this point.
>Battlenet keyAre they serious
I wouldn't mind battlenet if my existing xbox account worked for it. I understand both are too big to just fuse together but at least make it the same login.
>>750897497And you would have ended up paying like 50% more per game over what the games cost when they go on sale, plus a bunch of shit games clogging up your library. This battlenet shit is a joke and Microsoft needs to completely remove it from existence.
>>750894335only interested in Crisol. anyone have a spare key?
>gamers when they're forced to see a splash screen for an alternative launcher for 2 seconds before the game loads
>>750898805nigga I dont even want that shit installed on my pc
>>750898805>having to open another launcher that is in effect an ad delivery system for Activision Blizzard's woke DEI faggot propaganda that also scans your system and installed games as metadata for their marketing team.NAHHHHH
>>750898805>I love bloating my pc
>>750894335>mafiadon't care>outer worlds 2putrid commiefornia crap, on battle.net to boot>shinobicool i guess>yakuza 6cool i guess, but i can just pirate the gog version>crisollooks alright maybe>3 indie fillersidk they look ok i guessmaybe if i get a huge coupon at the end of the month i might consider it, but probably not.
>>750898805>reee install our gay launcher to play one mid gameNah, cry about it.
>>750899101mate, if you're bringing up piracy you can just pirate all of them.
>>750898104>And you would have ended up paying like 50% more per game over what the games cost when they go on saleThat's not true at all, anon. Even if you bought this bundle at the full $15 it comes out to $1.80 per game. Only the most indie of indies might go under $2 in a regular sale. As for clogging up your library, you can hide (Or permanently delete) games from it if you start shaking if you see too many games at once. Humble's gotten worse but it's still cheap
>>750899343i don't have the patience to deal with cracks anymore so i only bother to pirate if it's gonna be something clean and smooth like gog or roms.
I'll just pick up the indie games in a couple weeks for 50 cents on keysites.
>>750898805Yes :)
I've humble bundle over 15 months ago and it's amusing to see that the bundles have gotten even shittier since thenreminder that IGN owns Humble Choice and as they continue to fall deeper in the red Humble Bundle will go down with themThis is what the bundles used to look likehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zwANFc7D1acIt used to be 'pay what you want' and if you beat the avg you get an additional game. Now it's minimum 15 dollars for a grab-bag of crap
>>750900020It's still cheaper than buying the games directly even at their lowest ever prices. As long as a bundle has a couple of games you want, it's still really good value generally.
>>750900678the bundle should have at least 3 must-plays for it to actually make senseOtherwise you're stuffing your account with a bunch other useless programs you'll never install.
>>750899531>Here's one game you want and 5 shitty indies you don't for $15>This is somehow better than just buying the game you want for $10Get out of here with your woman math and logic>BUT YOU SEE HONEY I HAD TO BUY THIS BULLSHIT KNICKKNACK CLUTTER BECAUSE IT WAS ONLY $2 AND NORMALLY ITS $10 WHAT A DEAL!"Just because you can buy something on a deal doesn't mean you should, especially in humble bundle case where it's not even a deal for what you want
>>750901505>>This is somehow better than just buying the game you want for $10at least for the recent yakuza games these past 3 months, it's always better to get the bundle. 8 and pirates were on sale for the same price as the entire bundle and I maybe get a dollar back when I move all the cards.
>>750901505>So I bought a bundle of games for $15, it was pretty fun, I enjoyed it>But anon burst a blood vessel thinking of all the starving African children I could feed with that $15 instead, and his unhappiness was greater than my happiness, thus increasing the global unhappiness in the world, so whatever
>>750894360Humble bundles are always shit, you're supposed to buy the one game you want on keysites because the prices tank as soon as the bundle comes out.
>>750902096Your $15 is more likely to go to feeding those starving African children with humble bundle retard>He didn't already own squeekrossNGMI anon, bet your excited for GTA6 too
I personally stopped buying Bundles and instead buy games first day full price if they're something I genuinely want to play. With the money I spent buying Ace Combat 8 I coould buy 20 bundles, but at the end I would end playing one or two titles max and the rest would rot untouched.
>>750903434>buying Ace Combat 8 I coould buy 20 bundlesnani the fuck
>>750905549I'm kind of exaggerating. AC8 was US$60 in my region. With that money I could buy four US$15 HB bundles and get 40+ games. In paper a no-brainer, but in reality I would only find one or two games appealing to me between those 45+ titles.
>>750900826>Otherwise you're stuffing your account with a bunch other useless programs you'll never install.Non-issue really.
Remember when humblebundle was new and the bundles were often good?
>>750894625Yes they did. That said I'm undecided between finishing my Yakuza backlog on my physical PS4 copies, or just going through with the series on PC at this point onwards.
>>750906690Yep, that's why my steam library is so big from all the bundles you could buy for $1 and then get all the 2nd week's drops for free.
>>750906690>mostly indie slop for the first few years>only reason people cared was due to it being pay-what-you-want, before they introduced the payment tiers/bta
>battlenetI'll pay them not to give me that shit. steam or gog is all I take.
>>750906690Like a decade ago, yeah
>been pirating games for seven to ten years>most games on humble have already been piratedI literally see zero reason for me to even have a subscription anymore. Not only is the selection dogshit, they also kill purchased choice keys after a very short amount of time. It's ridiculous.
>>750894335Dysmantle isn't a bad game, kinda fun for a casual survivalcraft game. It just reeks of EA padding where every new section basically has you starting over. Like, nothing is truly intergrated.
I wonder how many people get annoyed when a Yakuza turns up, given the entire series has basically been piece-mealed through the years on it.
