I think many people still don't realize that we're in an actual Dark Age of art where people are literally just incapable of making things as good as they used to be. All companies just hire random talentless drones fresh from collage and set them to work. You look at all the cool enemies and armor designs in Guild Wars, those wouldn't exist without Kekai Kotaki's talent for example. You can't just expect the same quality coming from a different team, even if it is the same game.

I came back to GW1 a few years ago after over a decade of having not played. Some dudes posted on /v/ about doing a campaign run and that got me back in. Had fun for a bit but trying to make some dosh was kinda annoying.Only thing I could do was farm and sell Nick's gifts but trying to sell them with a small community was annoying. Just spamming in Kamadan with no bites for a long time.I still want to get back into it and finish my own solo run through all of the campaigns but I also heard they nerfed the mesmer hero squad.
