Characters still feel unique and have some depth (unlike 6) but you don't need to spend hours in training mode autistically rehearsing difficult combos to be effective at a high level (unlike 4). 90% of the valid complaints about 5 were netcode/QoL, and if the slop gods can fix all that it'd be a gamechanger.
