Filtered
>you have to pick up one (1) note that sets in motion every clue you'll ever need for the rest of the game>somehow, people get filtered
>>750913338It's not even that difficult
>>750913338RETARD
>>750913338I beat this back when I was 9. The only thing I ever needed help with was the sound maze. Nigga u dum.
>>750914075This faggot exists in only one linear timeline what a fucking dork
>>750913338no clue what to do no buttons do anything
The truth is, Myst is shit, along with all these shitty pre-rendered games, and all the adventure games, too.
Skip Myst and go straight to Riven. You don't miss anything and Riven is actually a good game.
Myst was easier than Riven. If something seems like it doesn't do anything just come back when it makes more sense. You never really have to bruteforce anything. There's a linear progression through the game.
>>750913338Play the remake then zoomnigger
>>750913338There are only two types of people who have played MYST>people who have no idea what the fuck they are doing, just press a few buttons, and quit>people who have no idea what the fuck they are doing, but already know the answers
imagine getting filtered by a fucking note. good lord.
The compelling urge to solve puzzles on a deserted island doesn't really hold up against an Alt+F4 input.
>>750913338You should try Riven, The Sequel to Myst.
>>750915470>>750920236The note didn't exist in the original Myst, you posers. It was added to later ports and remasters because too many people bumbled around and didn't know what the fuck to do.
now you're just being silly
nah i'll just randomly turn valves for 2 hours
Bring me...
>>750913338I was too stupid to get very far. Had to uninstall.
>>750921386no it wasn't
>>750913338I quit in the second area. I knew what I needed to do but the navigation was abysmal dog shit that I didn't want to deal with. 34 BTW, not a zoomer
I think it still holds up pretty well.I beat it (the original, not the remake) a few days ago and it was pretty cool. I haven't really played any other point and click games like this. My only issue is that there were certain parts where the "puzzle" was just to find some bullshit on the screen. Like the hidden passage in Stoneship. I couldn't even see it because I didn't have my monitor bright enough.I did the ages in a weird order because I didn't understand the tower rotation thing at first. I did Sellentic, Mechanical, Stoneship, and finally Channelwood. Not afraid to admit that I looked up what I was supposed to do about 3 times I think.>>750922845>second areaYou can do the ages in any order. Also if you are talking about Channelwood (the treehouse thing area) I completely agree with you. That shit sucked.
>>750913338I played this after Masterpiece Edition, because I'm a zoomie who didn't like the idea of not having full mouse control, one of those 30-something zoomies you don't hear much about. And I have to be honest, full mouse control added like fucking nothing to this, they shouldn't have bothered remaking it, original's better paced.
