>>750953354Actual answer: When they announced the sequel to RE2 and first 3D next gen Resident Evil was a Dreamcast exclusive for Sega Sony through a mondo shitfit and demanded Capcom rush out a third game for the PS1.Not wanting to pull anyone off CV's shitshow of a production they took a rookie team they were training up with an in house verticle slice project about Hunk on a cruis ship and instead were handed the RE2 engine and assetts to fart out a 6 month production rush job.Why is that important? because Nemesis was never anything to Capcom but a rush job asset flip to please Sony. They didn't have some burning drive to tell the story of Jills "Last Escape". Only CV was kind of a mess but RE3 was just more RE2 and the people loved it and hold it to a high regard even though its a 4 hour long rush job. Its got sovl born from its limitations as most horror games of the time people loved did.All of this is to say Capcom treated 3make the same way they treated RE3, they never understood we as the customers hold RE3 up the same way we do RE2. To them its like a top of the line sportscar and its cheap cloned chinese knock off. They don't care about RE3.
