I just recently played Dragons Dogma 1 after playing the DD2 dlc and I'm so sad to see how bad Dragons Dogma 2 is in comparison. It ruined my fun I had with the dlc.I will never touch DD2 again.

I tried watching Dungeon Meshi twice. I don't get it's popularity. There's anime I don't really care for but I get why they are popular, like Frieran. But I just don't understand Dungeon Meshi, it's so fucking boring.

Jaheira, Khalid, Minsc and Dynaheir are sort of considered canon party members but you have to actively seek them out and talk to them, meanwhile the beamshit ones give you unskippable cutscenes like that girl in Beregost or that retarded gay orc.I did one run where I tried these out but have been using the mods that removes them completely ever since.

Obviously the story wouldn't match the anime or manga, but they can just make it non canon or a sequel about another dungeon that formed in the kingdom post finale or whatever. Also there would be need to be cooking minigames and choosing how to cook the monsters would be a central mechanic. I'm uncertain if it would be better to go with a pure rpg survival like darkest dungeon or something that has more sprg elements like ff tactics or baldurs gate 3.
