The games pretty much peaked with gen 1/2. Everything else was downhill from there with little real improvement. I bought Black during the DS era and never finished it. The entire series is kind of an artifact from the nineties that didn't ever really evolve.
What is the reason for having black and white 2? Like why not use new colors instead of adding a 2 at the end
