That's what I'm doing, I'm running my own AzerothCore server with a population of 2000 bots, though it doesn't have to be a single player experience if you open up the ports you can just have friends join too.

Also allows me to set the draw distance of creatures to the grid's maximum of 520 instead of Blizzard's default 120, though this one is understandable as you can't have it be that high when you have a proper human population.

I started with Single Player Project in CMangos but eventually flubbed my way to an Azerothcore install with a few modules and custom rates and database/npc edits. Nowadays I use a cracked IsBoxer to multibox.

But for actual single player and being able to mathematically solo dungeons, you can tweak things like player hp/resources, enemy damage, and even talent point gain.

Who knows maybe there's a way to make them behave better (the github states you can do "most" raids, my impression is that you CANNOT do most raids) but I tried everything including proper comps and strategies, my experience is that when it comes to very specific rules like twin tanking + distance for princes or other item mechanics they just can't do it and you wipe.

You can also do battlegrounds and there's even a module for 1v1 arena, auction house bot that populates it with items etc.

They literally did this. You can only play as Stormwind humans, there are other unplayable humans (Gilneas, Kul Tiras, Stromgarde, Dalaran)

i wanted to like the game but the problems are just massive
probably the worst is to do with this SD/HD model stuff and the transmogs. like what the fuck? i don't even know who i am looking at or what they see when they look at me. there is no shared reality. it feels completely schizophrenic
also all these things they implemented are SO STUPID
this thing with the camping tents is just... ultra low iq, holy fuck. how can you not realize that the average player that doesn't even buy bags and has like 20 slots is not going to carry around the profession item to use on camping? WHY would that not just be a profession-related skill? and WHY would you need only 1 minute to get it and reduce resting so drastically from turtle... for the average person, the gains are not worth the trouble
