I always viewed /wpsg/ guilds akin to a challenge mode like hardcore. The challenge is clearing content with anons only. If you're bringing in non-anons that's cheating the challenge, just like if I'm playing hardcore but I have my level 60 buddy babysitting me. I mean yeah it makes it easier for me to complete the hardcore challenge, but I won't have really completed it, will I? It won't hold the same weight to me as if I had completed the challenge legitimately, and it certainly won't have been as fun.At the end of the day it doesn't really matter if you clear Naxx or not. There were anons who quit FMC and joined other guilds just to clear Kara 40 but so what? What does that "accomplishment" get them at the end of the day? They don't even have the loot or that character any more because the server is wiped.It was cool FMC and Evil got as far as they did. The fun was the journey and not the destination. It was fun playing with you guys while we could. And maybe next time we'll clear more content together.

A GM gave hand of Ragnaros to a player, that player then bragged about it in world chat, which got people to start asking questions, and it was figured out that some GM corruption happened. This created an issue where some anons refused to "waste their ID" running with FMC, and other anons grew to resent those "puggers." Tuning was done horribly and all over the place, quests were badly designed (prime example being the one q rewarding you with waterbreathing crap after finishing the underwater portion instead of before it where it would have been useful). Blackstone Island was out of the way and fucking ass, but at least its quest design wasn't as atrocious. From what I hear the later custom zones didn't have this kind of issues so Turtle devs clearly learned from their mistakes
